Robert (Bob) Fuss

Mr. Fuss currently resides in Cody, WY enjoying the semi-retired life with his wife, Christine.

Mr. Fuss has been involved in Fire and Emergency Services for over 40 years. He started as a Volunteer Firefighter, and later became a Career Firefighter with the Dacono Area Fire Protection District, Colorado. Mr. Fuss was promoted to Assistant Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Marshal. Later he became Chief of Department for Dacono Area Fire Protection District. Later in his career Mr. Fuss changed departments and was appointed as Division Chief of Operations with Mountain View Fire Protection District, Colorado.

During Mr. Fuss’ career as a Firefighter he was an instructor in all aspects of fire service. On occasion he still teaches for different fire departments and fire and emergency services schools. He also was a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Technician throughout his career.

After retirement from Mountain View Fire Protection District, Mr. Fuss started working as a SCBA Technician. Mr. Fuss has worked for different companies doing SCBA maintenance, service, repairs, and training. Mr. Fuss had been certified by Scott, MSA, and Survivair as SCBA Technician on various models of SCBAs both industrial and Fire Service.

Mr. Fuss is a past president of Thunder-Mountain Wind and Fire (501C3), and both he and Christine continue their involvement doing good in their communities. 

Vidal Carrillo

Mi nombre es Vidal Carrillo, y nací en los Estados Unidos. Mi familia es de México y crecieron en el Distrito Federal. Pasé la mayoría de mi juventud en la ciudad de Los Ángeles, California, pero elegí una escuela privada en Colorado para mejorar mi vida y aprovechar las oportunidades en ese estado. Mis pasatiempos son cualquier actividad al aire libre y disfruto leyendo historia. Siempre he sentido una profunda pasión por el trabajo de bombero. Mi camino comenzó trabajando en las montañas de bombero forestal y disfruté estar en la naturaleza, pero mi objetivo era formar parte de una organización más grande. También empecé a trabajar en el hospital, donde presencié de primera mano la crucial labor que los primeros respondientes llevan a cabo. Ahora soy bombero para la Autoridad de Bomberos de Poudre en Fort Collins, Colorado, y me enorgullezco de pertenecer a mi departamento. Estoy ansioso por colaborar y aprender de mis camaradas Mexicanos. Creo que al compartir experiencias, podemos mejorar colectivamente nuestras habilidades y reforzar nuestro compromiso con la seguridad pública.

Arturo Gallegos

Me llamo Arturo Gallegos.  Naci en Chihuahua Mx.   A los 10 anos mis famila emigro al los Estados Unidos de America.  Vivimos en Los Angeles Ca.  Yo termine mis Estudios en la Universidad de el Estado de Colorado donde me recibi como Geologo.  Tome la decision de ser Bombero.  Asta el presente tengo 20 anos de Carrera en Servicios de emergencia.   Mi actual asignacion es de Conductor de RESCATE 4. Las responsabilidadaes de Rescate4 son, busqueda y rescate,  extricacion de veiculos, Rescate con cuerdas, Rescate en agua corriente al igual que lagos, Rescate en hielo, y espacios confinados.   Tambien soy miembro del sytema USAR(  Rescate y Busqueda Urbana).   Mi tiempo libre lo paso con mis hijos, a ellos les encanta el deporte.  Tambien me gusta restaurar carros. 

William (Bill) Salmon

Bill is a resident of Fort Collins, Colorado and a permanent resident of Mexico.  Bill and Jane Salmon have maintained a residence in Cozumel, Mexico for the past 28 years and love the people and the island life. 

Bill has been in emergency services (police, fire, EMS) since 1975, and served the majority of that time with the Poudre Fire Authority in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Bill’s passion has been the coordinating, equipping, training, and care of the Cozumel Fire Department for the past 26 years.  He describes it as an honor to serve in such an amazing place as Cozumel. 

Bill is strong in his faith, he enjoys his motorcycles (Harleys, Indian, and Viragos), reading novels and historical fiction, snowboarding, water skiing, bicycling, and spends as much family time as possible.  

Bill and Jane have three Chihuahuas and have adopted five dogs in their 28 years in Cozumel.  They travel with their Chihuahuas each trip to Cozumel.
